Santa Monica

Santa Monica Interior Design

Santa Monica compresses more architectural variety into a small geography than almost anywhere else in LA. North of Montana has Spanish Colonials and English Cottages on tree-lined streets. The Main Street and Ocean Park neighborhoods run to craftsman bungalows and 1960s apartments updated by creative professionals. The Wilshire corridor brings larger modern condominiums. And throughout, the proximity to the ocean shapes how light enters and how people want to live.

We design for the full range — sympathetic restorations of period homes, clean contemporary builds, and everything in between. The through-line is coastal California: natural materials, genuine livability, and spaces that perform as well for a Tuesday morning as they do for a weekend dinner party.

Designing in Santa Monica

We Know Santa Monica — Because We Live It

Our designers walk the same sidewalks your family strolls at dusk. We frequent local shops, know the best lighting stores in town, and understand what works when the sea-air brings salty breezes and shifting natural light. We design interiors that respond to local climate, light, and lifestyle — not generic cookie-cutter layouts.

Coastal Ease Meets Urban Polish

Santa Monica is where beachy ease meets sophisticated design sensibility. That duality defines our approach: organic textures, breezy layouts, natural light — layered with curated finishes, modern lighting, and furniture that reflects your lifestyle. The result? Homes that feel open, relaxed, and luxurious — without ever compromising comfort or functionality.

Seamless Project Management from Start to Finish

We believe good design is as much about process as aesthetics. From scheduling to site visits, vendor coordination to installation — we manage it all. That means less stress for you, and more peace of mind as your vision takes shape.

Tailored to You — Not One-Size-Fits-All

Every Santa Monica home has a story — and we design around yours. Whether you’re an empty nester looking for coastal serenity, a creative couple craving open-air flow, or a family seeking practical elegance, we listen first. Then we build design solutions that reflect your personality, lifestyle, and the magic of your neighborhood.

Local Collaborators & Resources

When working around Santa Monica, we lean on trusted local artisans and vendors — from boutique lighting stores and coastal-friendly furniture makers to nearby cabinetry shops and custom millwork specialists. Our local network helps us source elements that resonate with Santa Monica style: weather-resistant finishes, naturally lit materials, relaxed coastal palettes — all built to last.

Areas & Neighborhoods We Serve

We specialize in design projects throughout Santa Monica and surrounding coastal Los Angeles neighborhoods, including but not limited to:

  • Ocean Avenue / Sunset Park
  • Mid-City / Pico
  • Wilshire-Montana
  • North of Montana / Rustic Canyon
  • Downtown & Main Street Condos
  • Canyon-side Bungalows & Hillside Homes

If your home sits just a little outside these boundaries, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’d love to talk about how we can bring our Santa Monica sensibility to your space.

Featured Santa Monica Project: A Modern Spanish Revival Refresh

For this project, we embraced the building’s Spanish Revival bones — high ceilings, arched windows, classic moldings — and transformed them into a light-filled modern home perfect for coastal living. We retained historic architectural details while layering in contemporary finishes, custom millwork, and a curated palette of warm neutrals, natural wood, and subtle coastal hues. The result: an elegant, comfortable home that reflects both the history of Santa Monica and the modern lifestyle of its inhabitants.
