Interior Design in Edgewater

Edgewater sits on Biscayne Bay just north of Downtown Miami, a neighborhood that has transformed over the past decade from industrial quiet to one of Miami's most architecturally interesting urban corridors. Residences are almost entirely high-rise condos—many with sweeping bay views and generous terraces that are as much a part of the living space as the interior itself.

At JAC Interiors, we design for both—understanding the relationship between interior and view, and creating spaces that feel composed from inside and from the terrace looking in.

Designing for the Space

The scale of Edgewater condos ranges from efficient two-bedrooms to sprawling penthouses. In either case, space planning is paramount—understanding sight lines, natural light movement, and the relationship between interior and the view beyond. We work with restrained palettes that honor the architecture while introducing warmth through materiality: wood accents, textured rugs, architectural lighting, and art that anchors a room without competing with the bay.

South Florida's climate shapes every material choice we make—we favor finishes that stay crisp in humidity and fabrics that hold up without requiring constant maintenance.

Design District Proximity

One genuine advantage of working in Edgewater is the proximity to the Miami Design District, just minutes away. Access to showrooms from Poliform, B&B Italia, Ligne Roset, and Minotti is unusually easy, and we take clients through these resources as part of our selection process. It's a level of access that's hard to replicate elsewhere in Miami.

The neighborhood's closeness to Wynwood also means a strong art community nearby— useful when we're curating pieces that give an interior its distinct point of view.

Our Process in Edgewater

Every Edgewater project starts with a conversation about how you use the space—and how you want to feel in it. From there we build a plan that covers layout, finishes, furnishings, and coordination with contractors through to final installation. We handle the details so the end result looks and feels exactly as you imagined it.
