Desert design is even more inspiring when we can go to the famous shopping blvd El Paseo and visit some of our favorite art galleries like Coda. They have a vast array of art from giant modern canvases to over sized sculptures that fit right in with any of our desert inspired designs. When we are in search of that special tile for a design build, we head over to Taylor Tile and get the one-on-one treatment with Barbara Taylor. She has an uncanny ability to track down that perfect tile or slab that we need when we are building a unique but timeless desert home.
Located in a private resort called The Madison Club, this desert luxe JAC project is right at the base of the San Jacinto Mountain range in Palm Desert, CA. This modern home is situated with a view from every room that includes mountains out the front and back as well as pool and golf course views and fire features throughout. JAC worked with both the homeowner and the builder to source, select and choose all interior surfaces, lighting and plumbing fixtures. For the furnishings, we chose a modern desert feel throughout where the owners young family could grow and thrive. The result seems to reflect the energizing effect that desert living brings to life in a unique and playful way.
